The AM Square Lab is created in the Department of Systems Science and Industrial Engineering at Binghamton University. The research goal in AM Square lab is to understand the fundamental material-process-structure-property relationships across different length scales in advanced materials processed by additive manufacturing technologies, through numerical simulation, analytical modeling, and experiment, to eventually fabricate high-performing and multi-functional engineering components in critical industries. |
PhD opening |
There are multiple funded Ph.D. student openings in AM2 Lab. The successful candidate will conduct research in the area of metal additive manufacturing through experiments and simulations. Candidates who have an M.S. degree with background in material science, mechanics, and/or advanced manufacturing will be preferred. If interested, please send your resume and transcripts to [email protected] ASAP. The interview will be performed right away. (Posted: 02/05/2023)
